Purchase / Sale apartment Cannes Stanislas
Just west of Boulevard Carnot, the principal artery leading in and out of Cannes, the charming older suburbs of Petit Juas and Stanislas are remarkably and conveniently close to the centre of Cannes and the famous Croisette.
These twin suburbs occupy the hillside overlooking Cannes to the North West, above the ancient Le Suquet and its bustling Marché Forville. Behind Petit Juas one climbs further into the hills and into the popular residential suburb of La Croix des Gardes, a favourite during Victorian times.
Petit Juas and Stanislas are made up of little streets, many of them one way, with colourful apartments and gorgeous bourgeois and belle-epoch houses and villas, some now converted into apartments, which are proudly cared for and preserved. They are more authentic “French” suburbs than La Californie and La Croix des Gardes, both of which experienced a great deal of foreign influence a century and more ago when the English, the Russians and the Americans built imposing villas and residences, many of which are fully renovated residences of character today.
